(More customer reviews)This is the real deal. It's small and will look great on any countertop/bar top. We used Orville Redenbacher popping oil along with their kernels and within 3 minutes, our house was filled with the wonderful scent of movie style popcorn. The steam hits the glass and scent is carried away throughout your house.
It only accepts 1/4 cup of kernels at a time, so it does take a few sessions to really fill up the box...if that is what you are looking for.
The only downside we've noticed is that a lot of kernels come flying out of the kettle. Not sure why but we lose a very good portion of them when we pop.
