(More customer reviews)The cabinet and wood finish looks nice, and as advertised the piece is made out of real wood. Once I had the thing built, I was pretty happy with it, but I found the building experience to be pretty disappointing.
The pieces showed up in a flat pack box Ikea style, but I have to say that the assembly didn't proceed as smoothly as what I'm used to. The construction is mostly wood pegs and wood screws, and the thing showed up short two pegs. I had the general impression as I unpacked the box that little care went into making sure everything needed was in there. The two sheets from the assembly instructions were on opposite ends of the box, which was a minor annoyance. Finally, one of the shelves showed up with the paneling lifted, necessitating quite a bit of glue to fix.
At the end of the day, I like the furniture.... but I was pretty irritated with it while I was putting it together.

Waring Pro WPM40 Professional Popcorn Maker Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Waring Pro WPM40 after happily using a West Bend Stir Crazy for many years. A few months ago we instituted a weekly movie night among some friends. When making numerous batches I found that the Stir Crazy had a problem with an unacceptable increase in unpopped kernals after the first batch. Purchasing two brand new Stir Crazy poppers did not resolve this problem so I decided to follow the Movie Theater example. After doing a bit of searching on the internet I was unable to find any informative reviews on this style of popper for home use. Without wanting to spend a large amount of money on the true movie theater models I settled on the Waring Pro WPM40 in part due to: it's more reasonable cost; it's close resemblence to the 'pro' models; it was being advertised by some reputable catalog merchandisers; and the Waring brand name.
The popper arrived in perfect condition and was assembled with little effort. Upon reading the manual and comparing it with the user instruction label on the door I found the two disagreed on the amount of oil and popcorn to be used. After numerous trial runs I was able to get mediocre results from it. Rather than use a half cup of popcorn I found that one third of a cup resulted in less unpopped kernals being ejected from the pot(which was still considerable). The problem with this is that it yielded just a small amount of useable popcorn so I had to make numerous batches(approx 10) to have a sufficient quantity for 4 guys(all healthy eaters). This process took perhaps 50 min to accomplish and afterwards the clean up was just as time consuming. After the 10 batches were done the pot was showing noticeable signs of burned on oil residue which required a couple applications of Easy Off oven cleaner. This entailed disassembling the pot and stirring mechanism. After that there was considerable work to clean the popcorn bits and husks(and oil) off of all the inside surfaces(it gets everywhere imaginable). The net result in my opinion, was that there was too much effort in the popping and cleaning processes when compared to the yield.
I decided to return the WPM40 popper and go back to the Stir Crazy(using two machines alternately this time since giving each sufficient time to cool after use appeared to increase efficiency on followup batches).

(More customer reviews)This is an outstanding media cabinet. The quality of the materials is excellent - strong, heavy and sturdy pieces, extra assembly hardware (screws, bolts, etc.) included. The wood is slightly lighter than in the picture, but I would still consider it a "walnut". The only downside was the time it took to be manufactured and sent to me, but it was worth the wait. Very happy with the purchase and would buy again if needed.

(More customer reviews)I bought this popcorn maker about a year ago ( I also bought a cart with mine). I cant tell you how much I love it and everyone who visits me loves it. Well it came really quick and was packaged well and nothing broke or missing. I am not someone who can fix things and could not wait to use and assembled the cart myself instead of waiting for my husband. If I can do it, anyone can. So that is just in case you get the cart which also has a a nice decoration and storage area. Anyway, this thing is easy to clean. I see they sell stuff to clean it but that is not needed at all. Of course, I clean mine after every use so there is no buildup, Just wipe it down with soapy dishwater and then I windex it, done in 5 minutes. Six ounce makes a lot of popcorn. I bought the small square boxes and I fill 7 of those with one popping. So if you want to make smaller batches you can get some 4 oz popcorn packets. However, the popcorn tastes great cold too. I buy megapop corn/oil/salt kit (2836). When I first got it I got extra salt and the butter topping but that was a waste of money and I never used it. That popcorn makes perfect theater popcorn just like the movies by itself, the yellow buttery salty great flavored popcorn, nothing else needed believe me! Also warm your machine for 4 minutes and follow the directions on the popcorn package not your machine package to get the most kernels popped. After it finishes popping stir the popcorn putting in bags or whatever you use as it seems the first 1/3 out is the most buttery and just mix it to even that out. I also bought some popcorn bags on ebay for like 1000 for 20 bucks and I get my popcorn from Home Theater Express. Delivery fast there and popcorn kept cold and when you sign up online they always have discounts. You have to keep the popcorn packets in a cool place cuz you dont want the oil side to melt (messy). I cant tell you how much we love this popper. I highly suggest you to buy it and follow my advice to make perfect home theater popcorn right in your own home.

(More customer reviews)First of all, this is your typical fiberboard product with a flimsy cardboard backing. That said, I am very happy with this purchase. The visible areas of the tower are finished nicely and do not look cheap. I have over 600 movies and they fit just fine with a little room to spare for odd shaped media. The directions are okay but could use some more detail. Assembly took about two hours but I was going slow and took a couple beer breaks. The worst part of this assembly was trying to attach the backing without punching a nail through the finish...I failed. They supply a cover-up marker for damage to the finish so the end result looked pretty good in spite of my wayward hammer. I just needed a place to store my dvd`s. This tower fits great in my basement since it only sticks out about nine inches from the wall.

(More customer reviews)I was trying to buy this poster a few times but with other versions there was always something wrong. Other posters I purchased for a similar price ended up being too small or low quality paper.
This poster is exactly what I wanted in the first place. It's nice and large so it fits on the wall of a bedroom perfectly (which is what I'm using it for). The poster comes in a tube so it's not folded or some other ridiculous packaging techniques I've seen before.
It's also clearly an original print and not a copy of the original. When I was pinning it up in my room I placed my hand in the top corner to keep in flat. My palms were sweating at the time and when I removed my hand I noticed I had ink on it. That's a good sign, just people might want to be careful about that since there's a big blue hand print next to my poster now, haha.
Anyway, it's good. If you want a large movie poster for The Social Network, this is the one to get. Iconic poster for a phenomenal film.
